Information we collect from applicants
Our employment application may collect your name, contact information, address, position interest, availability, work authorization and age responses, education, employment history, references, licenses or certifications, additional job-related information, résumé if provided, and your application certification and signature.
The separate background-check disclosure and authorization may collect your name, contact information, acknowledgments, electronic signature, signature date, and application reference.
Social Security numbers and sensitive information
Do not enter a Social Security number, medical records, or other unrelated sensitive information in the website application or authorization forms. These forms do not request a Social Security number. If an authorized screening provider later needs additional identifiers, it should collect them through its separate secure process.
How applicant information is used
Applicant information is used to review employment interest, communicate with applicants, manage hiring, and maintain records related to the application process. A signed background-check authorization records permission to request an employment background report; submitting the authorization does not itself run a background check.
Who may access applicant information
Authorized personnel involved in hiring may access information relevant to their work. Website, database, storage, and email service providers may process information to operate these services. If a background check is initiated, information needed for that process may be shared with the employer’s authorized screening provider.
Storage and retention
Applicant materials are stored using access controls and private document storage. Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for hiring and applicable recordkeeping obligations, then deleted or deidentified as appropriate.
Your choices and questions
